Item 7

G'day Bill
My name is Geoff Brown, I'm 40 years old and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I have been a fan of Crispian St Peters since hearing The Pied Piper in 1966 when I was only  six years old.
I can't tell you how glad I was to find out about your web site when it was mentioned in our Sunday newspaper in an article on British stars of the 60's.
Since being on the Internet I have searched for "anything" on Crispian but until now I have found almost nothing. I have spent countless hours going to Record Fairs and searching through thousands of records looking for any of Crispians recordings.     ( which are VERY hard to find!!!!!)
I have managed to obtain his "Follow Me" LP, "The Pied Piper" EP (An Australian only release I learnt from your site), and some of his singles.
Some low budget cassette's featuring various artist's have been around for some time now and I was happy to find Crispian on them doing re-recorded versions of "The Pied Piper" & "You Were On My Mind".
I have looked in countless books for information on Crispian but found practically nothing which is amazing because, like yourself, I regard him as having one the greatest voice's ever! When I think of the British 60's I think of Crispian.
I had always hoped that someday Crispian might tour Australia as part of an "oldies tour".
I gather from reading your site that Crispian is not in good health and may not be up to performing again. This is very sad.
I'm not sure if you are aware but in Australia at present "You Were On My Mind" by Crispian is being used in a television advertisement.
I congratulate you on putting this magnificent web site together for Crispian as it is "first class". If you talk to Crispian in the near future please tell him that he still has fans in Australia and especially me here in Melbourne!
A job very well done Bill, I will be a regular visitor to your site!
You have my full support and very best wishes.
