POP THINK IN CRISPIAN ST PETERS.
I'm getting tired of it now. People are getting more kinky there these days. The other day I saw a bloke wearing a yellowy mustard suit with frills around the trousers.
They work very hard.... sometimes.
Very, very handy indeed. I like to know that I've got money - so I can have anything I want within reason. It makes you feel more secure.
I've never been in one. They're all right - they're interesting to read about. Sometimes they are quite funny - like the Walkers versus The Stones. It makes a change anyway.
A very successful group indeed. They've made a lot of headway for other artists and have made the pop scene more alive than it's ever been. I admire them for all the hard work they do, even though they are the biggest thing in pop music.
Country and western bloke. But not real country and western, sort of half C & W and half pop. But he has a very good sound and sings with feeling on a lot of numbers.
The Garden of England - where I was born. There are some beautiful spots in Kent but some slummy black spots as well. I like to go there. It's very peaceful, it's nice to get away to places like that occasionally.
Mine's rather unusual - people don't forget it, which is why we chose it. Pop singers should have unusual names - like Donovan, Dylan or Elvis. That way they're not forgotten and there are plenty of Bills and Johns about anyway.
Not very difficult if you have something to work on. Some stars don't have to work on it - they're mad and they just line up their own styles.
Wonderful creatures - the only thing worth living for. One day I might pick a nice girl and settle down - but not yet.
My manager works very hard....... I think. He's quite successful for his age. He's also a bit of a toe-rag at times. He's a good man, he knows how to handle me.
My work is enjoyable, although it's very hard and the hours are funny. But it's the only thing I want to do. Except for the traveling - but everyone hates that anyway.
The greatest ever - my favorite music. I'd like to play the Grand Ol' Opry one day if that's possible. I admire Hank Snow, Hank Williams and the late Patsy Cline. She had so much emotion in her voice.
I'd like to act - but I'd like to produce my own film and direct it myself. I'd like to do a western or a make believe, unusual sort of thing. I'd like to do it the way it really is and not the way some of those stupid Hollywood fellows make it out to be.
I used to do a bit - amateur, that is. I don't like to watch it now. I used to get a laugh out of it, but it's a bit of a drag now. But they work very hard, those blokes.
I like buying clothes - I like unusual ones for the stage but anything will do for the daytime, providing it looks and feels expensive! I think clothes will get more colourful for men.
Yeah, great when I get time. I like a pint of bitter or a scotch and coke. Very relaxing.
Jungle isn't it? Have they got a crisis there at the moment? I don't worry about things like that, I don't think people should.
I haven't spoken to Manfred, but it's a very successful group. It was a shame when Mike Vickers left.
Very nice indeed. I like it in the morning. It does you the world of good. A daily pinta.
I hate it. You can't move properly on a mimed show. I much prefer to do things live.
Beautiful instrument - one of the best things that ever happened to me. You never stop learning even if you play for years and years.
I come from the wild south. I wish I'd been born there. I'd like to go and see all the things preserved there - like the complete western towns.
I've got to be in the mood for it. I haven't had much time lately. I've written about 100 songs and I've got two or three unfinished ones.
Good music. Only the best musicians play jazz. I prefer people like the MJQ, Gerry Mulligan Quartet to the big brassy sound.
Another you look forward to and find it's harder than you imagine. It takes a lot of sorting out and you need a long time to do it.
Great people. I meet unusual girls, pretty girls, funny girls, giggly girls, beautiful girls - and a few odd blokes who ask for autographs.
Very good indeed. Brian Jones is the best in the group instrumentally, but they're all good. Very exciting on stage.
Best cars in the world. I'd like to own one one day.
Not a very interesting subject.
